Starring Jessica Alba as Max Guevera and Michael Weatherly as Logan Cale. Dark Angel was only aired for two seasons, after which it was cancelled by it's broadcaster Fox. The show did create a good following though and helped Jessica Alba and her fellow stars of the show to move on to more roles in television and movies.
Max Guevera has escaped from a Amercian goverment agencies who were experimenting in combining humans with animals with the aim to create the ultimate soldier. Max, or X5-452 as the agency knew her, looks human but has several enhancements taken from cats which she was combined with. This allows her to perform superhuman feats thanks to increased agility and fantastic stamina. The agency is concerned about Max and a number of her peers who also escaped. They invest heavily in hunting down these escapees. This along with a hatred from the residents of the metropolis which Max ends up in for mutants such as she. All is not lost though. Max and a few friends managed to resist the hunt by the government whilst helping other mutants who are lost in the world of humans.
