Summer, Ryan, Marissa and Seth find themselves drawn together again as the new term starts at Harbor high school. Their friendship suffers due to the drama over the summer break which saw Ryan and Seth leave Newport.
The new term starts awkwardly for the four as Seth finds Summer dating Zack who Seth quickly realises is a better version of himself. Ryan and Marissa attempt to date other people after initially trying to pick up where they left off.
Cal finds himself on the wrong side of the law as the DA's office begin to investigate the his deals whilst working for the Newport Group.
